Economy passengers may carry one cabin bag up to 7 kg on most routes; Business and First allow two pieces. Dimensions and weight are checked at the gate on busy flights. Checked allowance depends on the fare brand (Special, Saver, Flex, Flex Plus) and route, and is shown on your ticket. Long-haul economy typically ranges from 20 kg to 35 kg, while US routes use a piece concept (usually two bags).
