The incognito and cookies myth

The claim is that searching repeatedly makes a fare rise, and that clearing cookies or going incognito resets it. In practice, there is little consistent evidence that airlines raise a price simply because you looked twice. Fares change constantly for real reasons, mainly seats selling and airlines adjusting pricing, and it is easy to mistake that normal movement for surveillance. Incognito mode does no harm, so use it if it gives you peace of mind, but do not expect a guaranteed discount.

Does a VPN unlock cheaper fares?
